One of my favorite parts of this partnership with @Mastercard has been getting to come back and see what happens after the surprise. When I first met Juliet and Justine at @theedgeharlem, Mastercard awarded them a $10,000 Small Business Grant. A few weeks later, I got to see how that support—and the mentorship and business resources that came with it—is helping them keep building their dream. The new outdoor dining space creates more opportunities to welcome guests. The business tools are helping them think differently about what’s next. And that’s what I love most: it’s never just about one big moment. It’s about giving small business owners the confidence, tools, and support to keep growing. Every neighborhood has that one restaurant that feels like home. ❤️ I had the best time spending the day with Juliet and Justine at @TheEdgeHarlem with @Mastercard, who’s celebrating small businesses through grants, mentorship, tools, and resources to help them grow and thrive. Getting a behind-the-scenes look at everything that goes into running their restaurant was a reminder that small businesses do so much more than serve food—they build community. From the prep work and big decisions to the creativity, hospitality, and heart poured into every meal, their passion is evident in everything they do.
