Marlene didn’t just love cats. She studied them. She used to say, “Cats aren’t meant to live indoors, but we’ve created an outside world that isn’t safe for them, so it’s our responsibility to give them a life that still feels natural.” After fostering and observing cats for over 20 years, Marlene knew cat scratchers needed an upgrade. They don’t let your cat stalk, grip, wrestle, and fight back. So before she passed, she built something different. A true prey scratcher — one that stretches, shifts, and reacts under your cat’s claws. Kitty Kurlz was her promise to give indoor cats a life that still feels natural.
